Volunteer at the Library

The library is so grateful for the individuals in the community who actively participate to make the library a better place. We love our volunteers!

Please complete and submit the online Volunteer Application Form. Once your application is received, Library Director Jackie Mills will contact you to give you additional paperwork and schedule an orientation.

Must be 13 years or older to volunteer
Background checks are required

Summer Reading Teen Volunteers

Teens, ages 13 – 17, are needed to help with the children’s programs during the summer school break.  Fill out the volunteer application.  Times and dates are flexible with accommodations made for family vacations. Contact the Youth Services Coordinator or the Library Director at (503) 845-6401 to find out how to assist the Children’s Department with the Summer Reading Program.

Children’s Programs Volunteers

Do you have a special skill you would like to share?  Do you like kids?  Are you good at teaching kids? Volunteer to share your knowledge!  Contact the Youth Services Coordinator or the Library Director at (971) 370-5040 to set up an appointment. All program volunteers will need to fill out a volunteer application and have a back ground check completed.
