Checkout the Library Cultural Passes

Mt. Angel Public Library has several cultural passes that are available for checkout. 

The Oregon Garden

• Admission for one adult and up to two children (under 18) per card (two cards come with the pass)
• Those under 17 must be accompanied by an adult
• Valid only for general admission and does NOT include additional paid events or activities such as tours or movies
• Three-day checkout period
• Pass MUST be returned directly to a staff member at the Mt. Angel Public Library Circulation Desk
• There is a $5.00 late fee PER DAY up to the price of the passes ($100.00)
• Pass is ONLY available to adult patrons whose home library is Mt. Angel Public Library
• Children’s cards may not be used for checkout

 

Central Cascades Wilderness Permit (Seasonal)

Whether day-hiking or overnight back-packing, all individuals and/or groups must obtain a wilderness permit. 

• For the Central Cascades Wilderness Permit System in the Deschutes and Willamette National Forests, including the Mt. Jefferson, Mt. Washington, Three Sisters, and Diamond Peak Wilderness Areas.
• Valid for overnight and day use.
• Good for up to 12 people in a group.
• Fourteen-day checkout period.
• Pass MUST be returned directly to a staff member at the Mt. Angel Public Library Circulation Desk.
• There is a $5.00 LATE FEE per DAY overdue.
• Borrowers must be 18 years or older, must have a CCRLS library card in good standing. Juvenile cards may not be used to check out passes. 
• Patrons may call the Mt. Angel Public Library at (971) 370-5040 or email library@mtangel.gov to reserve a pass.
• Passes are good from June 15-Oct. 15, 2023

 

Silver Falls State Park

• Parking pass for one vehicle and all occupants to park at Silver Falls State Park.
• Three-day checkout period.
• Pass MUST be returned directly to a staff member at the Mt. Angel Public Library Circulation Desk.
• There is a $5.00 LATE FEE per DAY up to the price of the passes ($50.00).
• Pass is ONLY available to patrons whose home library is Mt. Angel Public Library. Borrowers must be 18 years or older, must have a CCRLS library card in good standing. Juvenile cards may not be used to check out passes.

Gilbert House Children’s Museum (Salem)

• Admission for up to five people.
• Three-day checkout period.
• Pass MUST be returned directly to a staff member at the Mt. Angel Public Library Circulation Desk.
• There is a $5.00 LATE FEE per DAY up to the price of the pass ($95.00).
• Pass is ONLY available to patrons whose home library is Mt. Angel Public Library. Borrowers must be 18 years or older, must have a CCRLS library card in good standing. Juvenile cards may not be used to check out passes.

Oregon Jewish Museum & Center for Holocaust Education (Portland)

• Admission for up to five people per pass (2 passes) – one must be 18+.
• Cannot be used for special events.
• Three-day checkout period.
• Pass MUST be returned directly to a staff member at the Mt. Angel Public Library Circulation Desk.
• There is a $5.00 LATE FEE per DAY up to the price of the pass ($60.00).
• Pass is ONLY available to patrons whose home library is Mt. Angel Public Library. Borrowers must be 18 years or older, must have a CCRLS library card in good standing. Juvenile cards may not be used to check out passes.
