June 1-10: Register for the National Library Pen Pal Project (Ages 5-99+): Sign up for a summer postcard pen pal in another state! Mailing will occur from the end of June to the end of July. All ages are welcome to participate and will be paired with someone in their age group. Deadline to register is June 10th. Questions? Friday, June 9 @ 5:00-7:00pm—Sidewalk Chalk Festival (All ages): Create a masterpiece out of chalk! People of all ages and skill levels are invited to decorate a square of sidewalk on Charles St. using chalk and a lot of imagination! All supplies provided. Sign in @ the Library.

Friday, June 9 @ 9:00pm—Movie in the Park (All ages): Bring your own chair or blanket, a jacket & bug spray to enjoy the family movie The Goonies (PG) on the library’s outdoor theater—outside in Saalfeld Park, 195 E College St. Free sno-cones! In inclement weather, the movie will be shown @ the Library. Karaoke/Sing-along begins at 8:00pm! |

Where’s Mango? Every week, our Summer Reading Program mascot, Mango the parrot, will be hiding in a different place around town. If you see him, come to the library to enter your name.
